Pumpkin Carving

First time on skis!

Jacob's getting ready for ski season by practicing in the living room. His first time was a hit!

Penny!

Jacob and I went over to Sue and Mike's house after school today to meet their new addition... a Bernese Mountain Dog named Penny. She is a fluffy bundle of energy with the cutest face I've ever seen! Once she calmed down, she and Jacob did great together. She never jumped on him or tried to bite. She just licked his hands... must be she likes the taste of dirt and cracker crumbs! LOL!

Pumpkin Time

We went pumpkin picking at Winslow's Farm on Sunday. I was worried that there might not be a lot of pumpkins left, but obviously that wasn't a problem!

First Snow!

We got the first snow of the season on Friday, October 15! There was about 3-4" of heavy, wet snow at our house. Jacob and Pili were thrilled about it. Unfortunately we didn't last outside for long... fleece + wet snow = a very wet toddler rather quickly!

Jacob's going to be a spider this year for Halloween. He liked his costume until he walked on the tile floor and fell flat on his face, getting a fat lip. We'll try it on again and hopefully get better results!

We seem to spend most of our time playing this fun game... Jacob goes to touch something he's not supposed to touch....

I scoop him up...

and squish him! I don't know why he keeps doing it over and over?!

Cleaning...

Jacob likes to play in the playhouses at gymnastics before class- sometimes he likes it more than class!
