The Fair

At the last second we decided to go the the Vermont State Fair on the afternoon of the last day! We started to "hike" across since we still can't drive to Rutland when a very nice man gave us a golf cart ride all the way up to the Kierstein's to get our car. Jacob went on his first fair rides~ some all by himself! He rode the merry-go-round with Ted, drove a big rig, a bumper boat, a spots car, and flew a plane. WOW! Our baby is really growing up!

Return from Maui

Well a lot has happened... let's take it step by step...
1. We returned from Maui~ Jacob adjusted much easier than Ted and I!
2. The east coast had an earthquake~ no damage to Vermont thankfully.
3. Hurricane Irene hit the east coast and caused terrible damage to Vermont.

4. The only good news... Jacob is potty trained! WOO HOO

Last Day

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately... Our camera apparently ruined the the memory card, making me lose a bunch of pictures, and reinforcing my dislike of this camera.  I think it's going in the garbage when we get home and I'm getting a new one.  Not a Nikon Cool Pix, that's for sure!

Here are a few pictures from the beach this morning.  Jacob's sleeping now and I've got to go pack.  It's so sad to have to leave, but we've had a great time, and are looking forward to seeing everyone very soon!
