FIRST STEPS!

Our little Hawaiian Jacob took his first steps on the Maui Sunset lawn this morning! I was more than a little excited, as was Ted. Each time Jacob realized he was standing or walking on his own he would laugh so hard he would fall down. It was very cute. He's sleeping now, after a nice swim in the pool. He was going crazy splashing us both in the face and laughing about. Ted got a video we'll post tonight. Looks like he is going to walk after all! LOL

Jacob loves to have his feet and legs covered with sand. He laughs each time as he pull them out.



He's checking to see if his belly is full... looks like it's NOT!

After a tough night of drinking, this is what I look like, similar to my Dada but smiling!

Here we are out on the Maui Sunset lawn practicing walking. Jacob's getting better on the grass wearing shoes. He can easily walk holding on with one hand and is starting to take a few steps between the two of us.

Let's go, Dada! What are you waiting for?!

They are like two little birds with their mouths open saying, "Feed me!"

Jacob loves watching the men working on the lawn. They are dethatching the grass this week, removing crazy amounts of the roots. They do it once a year to keep the grass so flat. They are filling up their second construction size dumpster! I'm not kidding. Apparently people takes bags of it, spread it out in their yard, and grow grass just like at Maui Sunset. Maybe we'll bring Jonny a bag, he would like this grass.

Ted sailed out in front of Maui Sunset yesterday. There has been a low pressure over the islands making the winds light on the north shore.

Jacob enjoyed playing with his friends Ocean and Kai from Canada.
