Dentist

Friday Jacob went to the dentist for the third time.  The past two times he just let the dentist briefly look in his mouth and I figured this time would be the same... but no... he was a perfect angel and let the dentist brush, polish, and even scrape a little tarter off his teeth.  I was absolutely amazed at how well he did!  He's gotten a lot better at home about letting me help brush and I've even taken him with me so he could watch.  I was very proud of him- let's hope he keeps it up!

Let's see... what else is going on... Jacob is doing well sleeping in his toddler bed.  We've ordered a twin bed, night stand, and dresser but it looks like they won't come before we leave for Maui (July 3!).  So we'll switch that around when we get back.  I'm still not sure about his sleeping arrangements for Maui.  I don't think I'll even bother trying the crib.  I think the twin bed with a bed rail will be the best option.

He's talking up a storm and doesn't stop until he's asleep!  He repeats absolutely everything you say and is using new sounds every weeks.  He remembers things after being told just once, of course that doesn't mean he stops doing something he's not supposed to after being told not to!  Last week he said, "Mama fall down stairs at school, hurt knee."  Pretty good, huh!?!
